Buying a learning platform is not a small decision. These are the questions our customers asked before signing, with honest answers.
Our staff won't use the platform.
The main reasons people don't use a platform are hard logins and cluttered screens. Yadino has SMS-code login, installs on the phone like an app and sends automatic reminders.
Our instructors have no time to learn a new tool.
Instructor training is part of setup. Building a course is like filling in a form, and the help center has illustrated guides for every step.
Our learners are older or less tech-savvy.
Large buttons, a simple path and passwordless login. If someone gets stuck, support answers on WhatsApp.
What if a learner just opens the video and does something else?
Seek lock, in-video questions and real-viewing checks mean "completed" only counts with real watching.
Where is our data stored?
Every customer has a separate instance and database, backed up every day. Installing on your own servers is also possible.
Is our data mixed with other customers'?
No. Yadino is single-tenant; there is no shared database between customers.
Our security department is strict.
We provide technical and architecture documentation, join technical meetings and sign NDAs.
Can exam questions leak?
Correct answers are never sent to the browser before answering, and question and option order differ for each person.
Moodle is free; why pay?
Moodle's licence is free, but servers, installation, plugins, updates and technical staff cost money. See the total cost calculator on the Moodle comparison page.
Are there hidden costs?
No. Every plan's price is on the pricing page. The only variable cost is SMS at carrier rates.
Our budget is limited.
Each edition's Basic plan is designed for getting started. Schools pay per student, and in the Organisation edition the monthly price is fixed regardless of learner numbers.
What if our user numbers change?
The platform never stops. In the Organisation edition the plan price doesn't depend on learner numbers, and only online class users affect the monthly cost; in the School edition the cost follows the number of students.
Won't it slow down on exam day?
The infrastructure is built for concurrent access, and before large exams we tune your instance to the number of participants.
Does it work on slow internet?
In online classes learners can join with audio only, and recordings are available in the course afterwards. Course videos resume from the same minute if interrupted, and interactive video answers are not lost when the connection drops.
Won't updates disrupt our work?
Updates are applied outside peak hours and major changes are announced in advance.
Do we need a technical team?
Not with cloud deployment. Maintenance, backups and updates are handled by the Yadino team.
If we want to leave, are we stuck?
No. You can export all data, and full data handover at the end of the contract is part of the agreement.
What if Yadino shuts down?
On every plan, a full data export is always available to you. If the platform is installed on your own servers, the data stays with you there too.
Do you offer formal contracts and invoices?
Yes. We support formal contracts, official invoices and procurement and tender processes.
How long does setup take?
A standard instance is usually ready within 7 business days. Migration and on-premise installation are scheduled separately.
Will our Moodle data be migrated?
Yes, with the Yadino export plugin. Users, courses, question banks and enrolment history are migrated; details are on the Moodle comparison page.
What is support like?
WhatsApp, phone and email during business hours. Premium support terms for large schools and organisations are set out in the contract.
You don't have a feature we need?
Ask. If it's on the roadmap we'll tell you when, and for enterprise customers we consider custom development. If we don't have it, we'll say so honestly.
